AMC AMX Javelin Jeep & others V-8 oil pump cap/filter housing, second generation.
This is all OEM parts, NO aftermarket crap here. This has a used long pressure spring, not the short aftermarket one. This has the OEM factory pressure relief spool,(valve). The factory one’s have a smaller in diameter stem stop, that lets more oil through before opening the valve. I show this in the one picture, side by side, you get the smaller diameter stemmed one. This has the filter bypass in it like the first generation, so it takes the same filter as the early one’s and is a better flowing part. And is not the metric threaded filter like the third generation. This is arguably the most sad after factory part for your oil pump cap, filter housing. This is put together finger tight, and is not final washed or lubed. That is the buyers responsibility.
I have more than one of these in my inventory so you may not get this exact part, but you will get one of equal value.
